Flexibility and mobility are crucial in many situations, especially when rescuing or securing people. A stable tripod makes mobile lifting, as well as rescuing and securing individuals, quick and easy.
A tripod is significantly more stable than four-legged stands because it cannot wobble. Thanks to its compact design, a tripod can be folded like a camera tripod for space-saving transport.

TRIPODS WITH EXTENSIVE FEATURES
Lightweight and compact design combined with very high stability and performance: these characteristics distinguish both the ECO II and PRO II tripods from Martin PSA. While the ECO II is designed as a stationary model, the PRO II is a mobile tripod equipped with wheels. This is a significant advantage in certain applications.
Both versions comply with the EN 795 standard and the TS 16415 specification. Furthermore, both models are TÜV certified. A tripod of this type is suitable for securing and rescuing people as well as for lifting loads and can support weights of up to 500 kg. The tripods are compatible with fall arrest and rescue lifting devices (HADs). Both the HADs and the lifting winch are particularly user-friendly thanks to the universal and standardized Easy mounting system.
Despite their very stable and robust construction, the ECO II and PRO II impress with their compact dimensions when folded. Their low weight is also remarkable in this performance class. An integrated pulley jam protection system and optimized rope guidance prevent the rope from jamming or slipping out. On the PRO II, which is equipped with practical rollers, one wheel can be steered using a drawbar, greatly facilitating maneuvering with a load attached.
APPLICATIONS FOR THE TRIPOD
A tripod is ideally suited, for example, for securing individuals descending into shafts or for the rescue and recovery of accident victims. Wherever no other stationary or mobile devices for attaching fall arrest systems exist, a tripod—due to its compact dimensions—is almost always usable. It can be moved to the desired location and set up stably, even under the most challenging spatial conditions, thus providing perfect safety for rappelling personnel.
A tripod can also be a great help in the daily operations of many service companies when lifting loads. For example, manhole covers can be easily lifted using such a complete system. The PRO II tripod’s wheels also allow for convenient transport of the load. The same applies to rescuing and gently lowering people after they have been brought up from a shaft.

The PRO II, with its wheels, is easy to maneuver and can quickly and safely evacuate injured individuals from the danger zone. The ECO II and PRO II tripods are approved for two people and have a maximum load capacity of up to 500 kg.
Both devices also feature an integrated load pressure brake that can hold a suspended load of at least 25 kg in any position.
