The “Titan-Aluminum” manhole cover opener is a practical tool for opening manhole covers, oil separator covers, gas covers, water covers, and cable duct covers.
Manufactured from titanium-alloyed aluminum (550 N/mm²), this lever weighs only 3.0 kg and is 850 mm long.
The device is highly adjustable and can be used on almost all types of covers. For water and gas valve covers, the “Titan-Aluminum” opener can also be used as a puller.

The “Titan-Alu” manhole cover opener is used for opening the covers of sewer shafts, oil separators, and gas, water, and cable ducts.
To use the tool, the cover must have an opening or recessed grip near the edge into which the hook can be inserted.
The hook can be rotated in all directions, is adjustable in length, and can be fixed in the desired position using a knurled nut.
The hook is inserted either into the recessed grip or into a vent hole on the cover. If necessary, the hook can be rotated sideways and inserted laterally.
To achieve the correct leverage, after attaching the lever, align it lengthwise towards the center of the cover and pull it back until the hexagonal base extends beyond the cover.
Then, firmly press down on the lever handle to loosen the cover using leverage. Next, push the lever forward until both supports rest on the cover. Now, tighten the supports securely using the star knobs to create a connection between the manhole cover and the “Titan-Alu” manhole cover opener. This step is essential, and you’ll notice how easily the cover can now be lifted, pulled, pushed, and turned, especially when closing it.
For extreme conditions and particularly heavy covers, it is recommended to use two manhole cover openers.
