For rescuing people during rescue operations or for preventative fall protection during difficult work at heights, safety measures are essential. Simply roping up is not as effective at preventing injuries as professional fall arrest and rescue lifting devices (HSRG).

These devices not only facilitate rescue but also typically feature effective fall arrest, which is crucial for preventing injuries. For easier rescue, a so-called extension arm is now commonly used. These boom arms, also known as personnel hoists, can be permanently installed for general fall protection during recurring use or deployed as needed. Typical applications for fall protection include silos and other elevated structures commonly found in factories and industrial facilities.

Professional fall protection is essential when maintaining or repairing such structures. The PHK II-S (steel version) and PHK II-E (stainless steel version – manufactured from the highest quality stainless steel available on the market: V4A / X6CrNiMoTi17-12-2 / 1.4571) are two sophisticated devices available for these tasks. Both boom arms are designed for use with a single HSRG (heavy lifting crane) and are certified for personnel and fall protection according to EN 795 A and CEN TS 16415 by TÜV Munich, and are therefore approved for use by three people.

CORRECT ATTACHMENT OF ANCHORING POINTS

To serve as anchor points for securing or rescuing people and for the safe lifting or lowering of loads, outrigger arms must, of course, be attached to suitable supports.

To offer maximum flexibility, outrigger arm supports are available in various designs. Depending on the model, wall supports (e.g., for mounting on concrete walls) or floor supports are available.

The latter are offered for surface mounting or for embedding the outrigger arm support in concrete. Depending on the application, supports are available in steel or stainless steel and are supplied with structurally designed connecting elements.

We would be happy to carry out the annual inspection for you on-site!
