Of course, we also inspect your PPE and your lifting equipment/load-handling devices from third-party manufacturers.
We carry out inspections and maintenance at our own facilities, or—if you prefer—directly on-site at your premises.
What do we inspect/maintain?
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) – inspected by certified experts
- Lifting equipment and load-handling devices – inspected by certified experts
- Fall protection systems from ABS Safety – inspected by trained specialists
According to the EKAS guidelines, all companies in Switzerland are obligated to systematically ensure occupational safety and comply with the Ordinance on the Prevention of Accidents and Occupational Diseases (VUV).
Article 32b of the VUV states that work equipment must be professionally maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Accidents frequently occur when lifting equipment (chains, ropes, straps) fails and loads fall.
This risk can be significantly reduced through regular inspections.
Your lifting equipment (such as round slings, webbing slings, chains, wire ropes, etc.) as well as personal protective equipment (PPE) against falls must be inspected at least once a year by a qualified expert.
We inspect your lifting equipment including third-party products directly on-site. All inspected and intact products are clearly marked, registered, and you receive a detailed inspection certificate after each inspection.
