Individuals who work at height, as well as their supervisors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Training Objective<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Participants learn how to use personal protective equipment against falls from height (PPEgA) correctly and safely. They also acquire the skills necessary to perform a basic rescue of an injured person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course Content<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Legal basis for PPEgA<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Knowledge of all basic components of PPEgA<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • (functions, advantages, limitations)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Correct use of PPEgA<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • (donning, adjusting, applying)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Proper handling, storage, and inspection of PPEgA<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Testing and product standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • (PPE Regulation, European standards, CE marking)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Importance of self-rescue<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • (suspension trauma)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Practical self-tests: jumping, pendulum fall, impact force, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Rescue of an injured person \u2013 scenario-based training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Note<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    This training is mandatory according to VUV Art. 8. Employers may only assign tasks involving special hazards to employees who have received appropriate training.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
